Power Package - Special Buy on Cherokee's!

posted by PaulSherryRVs @ 5:34pm, Monday 21 November 2011.

Every now and then, RV and Travel Trailer manufactures will offer incentives for quantity purchases.  Last month Cherokee by Forest River (Grey Wolf, Wolf Pup, and Wolf Pack are all included in the Cherokee line) offered us a deal we couldn't refuse.  With the order of 20 or more units, Cherokee would throw in the Power Package at no additional cost!  That is a large order for a dealer of our size, but this is just too good of an offer to turn down.  The Power Package consists of 15 handy options which normally add over $4000 to the cost of the trailer.  We jumped all over this offer and we are passing the savings on to you.  This is no gimmick!  Don't miss out on this opportunity!  Once they are gone... they are gone.

Power Package options include:

- Touch Screen Wireless Remote -  This remote controls the slide-outs, power jacks, and power awning.  This is great for setting up camp in tight spots.  You no longer have to have one person inside controlling the slide or awning while another person stands outside and yells at you if you if the slide or awning is going to hit something.

- Digital Leveling Indicator - This is two indicator with a LED light display that tells you if you are level or leaning one way or another.  There is an indicator on both the front of the trailer for side to side leveling, and on the side of the trailer for front to back leveling.

- Keyless Entry - This is a number keypad located right outside of the door.  Type in the programmable code and the door locks or unlocks.  This is especially handy if you are camping with a number people that are coming and going at different times.

- Lighted Entry Door Threshold - This is a lighted strip at the foot of the the door that helps you see where the steps are at night.  It also looks pretty cool!

- Electric Stabilizer Jacks - For some reason this is not listed on the poster, but it is included.  These are, just as the name suggest, electric jacks as opposed to manual crank.  The can be controlled with a button on the trailer or with the remote.

- Power Tongue Jack - Again, just as the name suggest, this tongue jack is moved up and down with the press of a button.

- Super Lube Axles - These should be called easy lube axles.  All you have to do is take off the center cap on the wheel and there is a fitting to hook your grease gun to right there.  Without this, you have to take off the wheels to grease your axles.

- Toylock Security Cable - This is nice thick cable that is connected to the front of your camper that you can use to lock up your bikes or anything else.

- Sunbeam Heated Mattress - These are great for camping in colder weather.  This heated mattress has two separate zones with individual controls.  This allows for you and your partner to both be comfortable.

- Self Adjusting Brakes - These are basically maintenance free brakes.  As your break linings wear, the shoes have a longer distance to reach the drum and slow your travel trailer down.  These will self adjust to keep the shoes close to the drum

- Flip-up Bike Rack - This is a bike/cargo rack with a 250 lb limit.  When used as a bike rack, there is a vertical bar that can be put up to strap your bikes to.

- Power Awning - The power awning can be controlled with a switch inside, or the wireless remote.

- Multimedia System - This plays DVDs on your TV with the sound through the built in speakers.  It is also a AM/FM/CD/MP3 player with a touch screen interface.  You can choose between two speakers zones inside, and the outside speakers... or any combination of the three!

- LED TV - Sizes vary by model, but most commonly it will be a 32" TV

- Multimedia System External Control Panel - This is a small box on the awning side of the trailer that allows you to control the multimedia system from outside.
